Evan Patton 14 Years Old Living His Racing Dream

Dream it.

It all began a few years ago with a dream of racing go karts. I was playing travel baseball and wanted to race. My Mom and Dad were reluctant at the time to purchase my own kart. I raced several times at K1 Speed in Fishers and started to become better and better at kart racing indoors.

Build it.

On July 17, 2023, my Dad and I drove to Bristol Indiana to buy my first kart! It was a 2021 Ricciardo by Birel Art. Ten days later, I was taking my first practice laps at Whiteland Raceway Park, which is currently my home track. This was the start of Evan Patton Racing!

Grow it.

On September 16th, 2023, I competed in my first race at Whiteland Raceway Park in the LO206 class. From that day forward, I knew that racing was in my blood and I wanted more and more. I paired up with NEWGEN Motorsport to learn and get better.

Live It.

I competed in four races during the fall at Whiteland Raceway Park in 2023. I learned more and more each time I competed. During this time I was still playing travel baseball but knew that I was ready to hang up my glove and bat to race full time. In November 2023, I made the decision to forgo baseball all together to pursue my racing dreams.

Learn It.

During the winter of 2024, I signed on to be a NEWGEN Motorsport factory driver. We sold my Ricciardo Kart and bought a new Haase -NEWGEN chassis powered by Ghost Engines 206. Since I was going to be racing full-time and to get more seat time, we also bought a Haase - NEWGEN chassis with an IAME KA100 engine to compete in both junior classes.

Race It.

My season started in March and goes until November. I will be running the entire Indy Karting Challenge Series at Whiteland Raceway Park in my Briggs LO206 and KA100. I have raced at New Castle Motorsports Park in KRA races and the STARS Championship Series race. I will be competing in SIRA Races as well this year. I will continue to learn and grow in this sport to be the best that I can be!!

2025 Amaxx Racing Team Elites

On December 10, 2024, I selected to drive for Amaxx Racing as a Team Elites driver. I will be competing at national level karting events including USPKS, STARS and SKUSA. This a great opportunity for me to compete at the next level of karting.

On September 6, 2024, I was given the opportunity to drive a USSA Kenyon Midget for JK Racing at Salem Speedway. This was my first time driving and racing a car. I did well during my first practice session and was 4th fastest! I really came up to speed quickly. I completed my first race at Salem on asphalt and went on to drive a dirt race at Paragon Speedway where I won a heat race! I was able to secure a full season driver seat with JK Racing for the 2025 season!

Karting to Kenyon Midget

Tony Stewart well wishes!
