WKA Daytona 2024
World Karting Association Daytona Kart week had its up’s and downs. The weather made for some challenging moments and racing. It was a learning weekend as I closed out 2024 on two new karts. Looking forward to going back to Daytona International Speedway in March for United States Pro Kart Series with my A-Maxx Racing Team! Always learning, alway grinding!!
Podium to close out the WRP season.
What a fun way to end the season at Whiteland Raceway Park!
In my KA I got podium for the 1st time in the Indy Karting Challenge! WRP went with their traditional Turkey Race trophy’s and we all got a bird for a trophy instead of actual trophies. Cornish Hen for the win for me! I’ve been chasing down Ryan Mort Racing and AJ Stoner Boyz Racing all year and finally caught them! It is a honor to share the stage with them. They are some of the best out there!
206 kart wasn’t my best and I was bummed with where the day took me. I did qualify 4th and finished the heat race 4th but ended up 7th in the final. The final was full of passes and some great driving. Not happy with my place but happy with my driving.
It was fun day. Thanks to everyone that continues to support and cheer me on! Has the 2025 karting season started yet?!
Big things to come…. And I am ready for it!!!
WRP Double Podium & NCMP
Been a minute since I’ve gotten track time lately. I made up for it this weekend!
Spent Friday at the track practicing. Saturday afternoon wrapped up the final Sunset series races at Whiteland. Saturday started mid morning into racing under the lights. In both karts I landed P3, podium! Few errors in my driving but working hard to kick my bad habits to the curb! Overall went to bed pretty pleased with my performance.
We woke up at 6am this morning and headed to New Castle to compete in their last club race. Was a unique experience based on 1 practice, a Le Mans style start and then it was go time with a 30 min final. My endings definitely don’t reflect on my efforts, but that’s racing. I started 21st in my 206 due to not running for points at NCMP with today’s format (no qualifying) and finished p16.
KA was on point and fast but both in practice and the final race, my chain became loose. Started P7 and with six laps left in the final race, while running P4 and all of sudden it became too loose and I had to pull off for a DNF. While I was not happy, I definitely am looking at all the good the weekend gave me.
Shout out to my fellow United States Speed Association Kenyon Midget buddy Kyle Sheard for hanging at Whiteland for the day and helping me.
WRP Double Header
Whiteland doubleheader in the books. It was an up and down weekend but that’s racing! On Saturday in my 206 I qualified P8, finished P9 in heat and P6 in the final. KA qualified P8, finished P6 in heat, P8 in final.
Sunday in my in my KA, I qualified P6, finished P7 in heat and P6 in the final. In my 206 I qualified P8, finished P2 in heat and took 3rd place on the podium for the final.
Paragon Speedway. 1st Time on Dirt!
Oh what a night! 1st time on dirt and took the flag in the heat race!!! 6th overall in the final.
Thankful and grateful for this opportunity with JK Racing, LLC. They welcomed me in to their family and it’s been a great experience. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
Thanks Ayrton Houk Racing for some legit coaching.
Kenyon Midget Debut at Salem Speedway
What a weekend to remember! Got an amazing opportunity to drive a United States Speed Association Kenyon Midget for JK Racing, LLC! Amazing car, amazing equipment and amazing coaching!
Friday practice Day 1 was me learning how to use a clutch, turn left and go fast. I ended up 4th fastest on the day! (80+ mph)
Saturday morning I switched back to go karting and had a decent morning in my 206 at Whiteland Raceway Park. We tried a few different things and they didn’t stick. I was P3 in my heat and finished P4 in the final
race.
Saturday afternoon in the midget I had not been in a group of more than 4-5 cars on the track at the same time, so my nerves were a little high. I got up to 8th fastest in the 2nd practice session. The nerves did get the best of me during qualifying and it was too far back to make a big difference for placement in the heat race. A total of 3 passes during the races in my 1st time ever driving / racing this car…I was pleased! It was a hard track to pass on. I finished P12.
I had 1 goal this weekend: Complete every lap. Goal complete! My speed was faster every time except qualifying—Another goal. My 1st grandstand crowd didn’t disappoint.
Excited to see what happens next!
NCMP Night Race
My 1st New Castle night race was a blast! A different kind of “Friday Night Lights” that I am used to for practice. We made some adjustments on my New Gen Motorsport karts on Saturday and I got faster each session! Bad luck again and got caught-up in a crash in the 206 during the pre-final losing my front bumper and I pulled off. Had to start P26 out of 29 for the final. During the final once again there was a crash by other drivers on the first lap which slowed me down. I ended up P15 out of 29! In my KA pre-final I finished P8 out of P10. In the final I finished P6 out of 10 just missing a top 5 award.
Thanks to The Bradford’s for the best hospitality, words of wisdom and encouragement. Thanks to Aaron for coming out to help guide me; as well as Jamie and Eli Fox. Donnie and Lincoln for help off and on the track and for transportation yet again of my karts. Thanks to my Newgen teammates for pushing me forward and Stay Reel Media for some great on-track shots.
It was a great weekend with lots of forward progress. Onto more exciting things ahead!
Road America
Spent the last three days at Road America in Wisconsin, and what an incredible experience it was! I can’t thank my friends enough for hauling my karts up and making this race possible. It wasn’t on the schedule, but their generosity made it a reality.
A huge shoutout to A-Maxx Racing for welcoming me into their family this weekend. They provided me with everything I needed to get faster, pushing me with lots of changes and challenges that helped me improve. The weekend was a blast, filled with learning, and I can’t wait to get back at it.
Lastly, thank you to my parents and sister for always supporting me, through both the highs and lows. And to all my friends, family, and teammates who checked in throughout the weekend—I felt your support every step of the way!
WRP and New Castle Weekend
Another fun-filled racing weekend! Started off Saturday at Whiteland Raceway Park in my New Gen Motorsport KA. Qualified P5, P5 in the heat and finished P4 in the final. In my 206 I qualified P3, P4 in the heat and P6 in the final.
On Sunday I raced in my 206 at New Castle Motorsports Park. I qualified P22, pre-final P19 and final P14 in a very competitive field of 26. Thanks to Jamie Bradford and Christine Vivrette Bradford for the support, help and hospitality!
And thanks to my grandparents for the truck to get my kart from track to track the last few races!!!
New Castle KRA #10
On Saturday I was able to get a full day of practice in at New Castle Motorsports Park in preparation for KRA#10. I felt good going into race day.
Today, I was P9 out of 24 karts in practice and qualified P8. For the final, I was good until I wasn’t. Got pushed off track mid-race and fell back to P11 then got pushed off again and finished P15.
Still learning, still grinding!
WRP Sunset Series Race
I felt great for the 2nd Sunset Series Race at Whiteland Raceway Park. I got podium in my KA!
